Iiro Kajander aka iipro is a small city boy in a big big universe, with open eyes, open ears and an open mind. From an early age he discovered how special music feels. How music can deliver emotions, take back in time. Music seemed to understand him and never left him feeling lonely.
Drums stole his heart at mid-teens leading to playing in several bands with musical styles varying from pop, electro, rock and metal to RnB, jazz and samba. During a decade of drumming iipro realised music can truly be both a passion and profession. As perfect as timing can be iipro decided to pursue his dream of making music on an international level and moved to London, UK to study a BA (Hons) Music Production and Sound Engineering in Point Blank Music School to educate his understanding of music. Ever since iipro has been finding his place in the universe, music industry, working with artists and bands from the US, UK and Europe.
Now based in Helsinki, Finland, iipro works whole-heartedly as a DJ and Music & Audio Producer as well as an educator in Music Production. iipro believes music is everywhere, belongs to everyone and music has everything to do with life. Iiro Kajander aka iipro is a curious mind who happens to feel music is the vehicle for making a difference.
